Once Again, College Football's Season Ends With a Thud

Bob Stoops enjoys a nice Gatorade shower after the Sooners dumped an overmatched Connecticut team like everyone including my 12 year old brother thought they would. Texas Christian plays a great game that means nothing and beats a really tough Wisconsin team. How amazing would those two games be if: A) Connecticut was replaced by Oregon/Auburn and B) each of these games was a national quarterfinal? I watched both of these games. After each game the players are interviewed. Quarterback Landry Jones couldn’t look more anxious to get out of the stadium. It’s not fair to the player, the coaches, and the fans. The BCS screws us out of potentially the most exciting tournament in sports if it were to take place.  Again, I watched an amazing college football season, exciting games week in and week out, and it’s just over. Each bowl game gets me sicker and sicker of the system, and as I prepare to watch the GoDaddy.Com bowl tomorrow (with the enthralling matchup of Middle Tennessee against the University of Miami (Ohio)) I could not be more disgusted with the situation college football is in. Please Mark Cuban, we're desperate.
